{"id":39228,"date":"2021-10-18T10:43:00","date_gmt":"2021-10-18T08:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gretrec.digital.bluesoft-group.com\/?p=39228"},"modified":"2022-02-22T15:27:29","modified_gmt":"2022-02-22T14:27:29","slug":"vocational-training-through-apprenticeship-in-pointe-noire-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/gretrec.digital.bluesoft-group.com\/en\/vocational-training-through-apprenticeship-in-pointe-noire-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Vocational training through apprenticeship in Pointe-Noire"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As part of the project to support <a href=\"..\/projet\/ameliorer-linsertion-socio-professionnelle-des-jeunes-en-situation-de-vulnerabilite\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\">strengthening of vulnerable young people\u2019s employability and professional integration in Pointe-Noire<\/a> in the Republic of Congo, 145 young people in vulnerable situations have just finished their qualifying modular training course, focused on skills development in sewing, mechanics, air conditioning, hairdressing and catering. These young people from the Ti\u00e9-Ti\u00e9 3<sup>rd<\/sup> district of Pointe-Noire benefitted from short work-linked training, consisting of four months of qualifying technical apprenticeship training in training centres and a one-month internship in a company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"750\" height=\"552\" src=\"http:\/\/gretrec.digital.bluesoft-group.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/PArein2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41952\" srcset=\"http:\/\/gretrec.digital.bluesoft-group.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/PArein2.jpg 750w, http:\/\/gretrec.digital.bluesoft-group.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/PArein2-300x221.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><figcaption>Delivery of certificates by the president of the GIAC (Interprofessional Group of Craftsmen of Congo). \u00a9GRET<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>To mark the end of these young people\u2019s training and their entry into the world of work, GRET and its partner GIAC (Congo Interprofessional artisans\u2019 group) organised a ceremony to present end-of-training certificates to the students, in the presence of the project\u2019s social and institutional partners, under the authority of the mayor of the Ti\u00e9-Ti\u00e9 3<sup>rd<\/sup> district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This event brought together 160 participants, ranging from training centre teams to managers from the Departmental Directorate of Social Affairs, as well as students\u2019 parents, representatives from the Ti\u00e9-Ti\u00e9 local authority, civil society&nbsp;organisations working in training and professional integration in Pointe-Noire, members of the integration thematic group, members of the GIAC office, the Don Bosco career guidance and professional integration office, and young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Various workshops organised with the project partners made it possible to co-construct and produce a guidebook on welcoming, listening to and guiding people in vulnerable situations.
