AjeSud is part of the EU’s “Developing Employment in Senegal” (DES) program and complementing the ACEFOP (OS2) component of the DES program, which aims to facilitate young people’s access to vocational training, but also the component aimed at strengthening the fabric of local businesses (OS1 of the DES program). Résultat final : Les dispositifs mis en place dans le cadre de l’Action améliorent l’accès au financement et contribuent à promouvoir l’emploi et l’insertion professionnelle des jeunes dans les zones de départ de migrants.
Résultat intermédiaire 1. Un dispositif de concertation avec les partenaires du Programme Développer l’emploi au Sénégal (DES) permet d’identifier les besoins spécifiques des publics cibles et contribue à la pérennisation des services mis en place.
Résultat intermédiaire 2. Existence de mécanismes pérennes d’accompagnement et d’insertion professionnelle des jeunes autoentrepreneurs et des GIE/coopératives.
